The accounts are more like a savings account.
Their allowance is denominated in sats so they see how the amount of dollars they get fluctuate and that helps them understand the value of Bitcoin.
And this motivates them to not spend the sats 😁
I also act as their off-ramp. If they want to buy something they send me sats and I send them money with Apple Cash.
Gotcha. My kids are 10 and 6 so neither has a phone yet. They Esch have bitcoin “saving accounts” but they don’t really pay attention to them because they don’t have a device to check the balance on. I could do a better job of reminding them I guess.
