Sorry, I did not mean to be.

I was trying to emphasize the point, that I see a difference between direct misdirection on picking on something or someone to make them think about something else. Or making their physical needs hard to satisfy, so they rather concentrate on them.

But I was wrong. At the end, both are simple misdirection just the subject causing the misdirection is different.

Also could you explain fury maybe? I have not heard this term before.
