Good movies being made would probably help lol

The experiences and stories gave way to the church of woke

Many are, and people are going to see them.

Then they would be just like cable. 1000 channels and only 5 new shows

Seriously. The best movie I've seen in theaters in 10 years was a screening of Terminator 2 I went to a year or so ago πŸ˜‚πŸ˜

that was art

Yes! Movies suck, production companies hate us….

It’s going to take way more than pickle ball.

I swear theaters must have unrealistic expectations and obligations today. Back in the day less films came out and they stayed in theaters longer. I wouldn't be surprised is projectors and rents are ridiculous today requiring more ticket sales

i think studios are just less willing to take real risk, it's a fiat money game

That and it is seems like audiences are fractionalized

Just make great movies again, like gladiator, troy, braveheart etc. No woke bullsh*t

Story doesnt have to be difficult, it’s just an achetypical hero journey most of the time.

For the female audience i don’t know what movies would bring them back to the movie theaters.

I'm loving movies. Old movies mostly! Built a 1000+ movie collection on disc and watching old stuff regularly.

Recently watched the animated Beauty and the beast, amazing movie! Incredible artwork.

Watched Gladiator a few days ago. Epic film and so will done.

Why even bother with new movies when there are hundreds of incredible old movies, better than the new ones available for only a few dollars each on eBay with the benefit of permanent ownership and sharing?
