I just always assume google collects everything and shares anything they want.

Protonmail, Mullvad VPN, Mullvad browser etc mitigate some data harvesting, and imo are worth using, tho ultimately I reckon we have to assume that much of our data is compromised.

Yeah this is no surprise to me at all, I just think it's important to remind everyone how your data is misused by companies such as Google. It's also important to remember that these companies won't protect you from prying government entities. It's cheaper to just follow orders from the overlords.
