Advertising has realised I'm looking for work and is all like "this product can get you a job at JP Morgan Chase! Microsoft! AWS!"

Whereas I'm over here like "I just want a gig at a 10-30 person startup where everyone is a bit of a mess and we can all work together to build something cool".

I've done my time in corporate at Facebook and I hated it with everything in my soul. It ruined me, physically and emotionally. I still haven't recovered. I don't think I ever will.

I stayed as long as I did, and that's on me. But it doesn't change the myriad things wrong with bigger companies. I want nothing more to do with them.
