Good morning!

I'm not sure there is a simple way to convince someone who is addicted to legacy social media. But...my experience was simply that the people I was following on instagram didn't like me because of their beliefs of what I was because I did things a different way than them. As a creative, nostr has made me feel like I have value (literally through zaps, and figuratively through likes, comments, and conversation) whereas I was lost in the algorithm on IG. It's not easy, but what you get out of it is so much more satisfying and if that's what someone is looking for, then nostr is for them. If they're only interested in a high follower or view count, it's probably not for them. I have found some great people here and have had way more fun than I ever had on any legacy social media. πŸ«‚πŸ«‚

Gm yarn!

I feel like many people are addicted to legacy without realizing it, and also unaware that there is a functioning alternative. I can resonate with you completely. I’m happy to connect with you and others here πŸ«‚πŸ€˜πŸΌπŸ«‘

I didn't realize how bad it was until I quit. I guess it's that way with any addiction though, lol. I really thought I was a bad person for not thinking like the people being pushed on me. Crazy times. It is a great place and glad you're here!! πŸ«‚

Reminds me of the illustration of the alchemist looking out beyond the veil of the known world and out into the cosmic realm
