I once read that if you don’t wear a helmet then drivers will be extra cautious and give you more room. If you can ride in numbers with bright lights, that’s better IMO.

Anyone got any go-to brands for reliability and durability?
I think some are a bit of a ripoff for average / commuter usage, the extra design, aero stuff etc. They all have to pass the same safety tests by law. (Countries do have different e parameters of having to pass.
But you do want some sort of build quality in certain parts, fastening parts and the plastic back bits and dials etc. But also aren't you meant to replace them every 3 years anyway?
