every person in the government, the legislatures, judiciary, the executive, and the bureaucracies under them are surrounded by psychopaths.
i worked for a government department, was my first paid gig. all of the managers and supervisors near me were henpecking karens, i eventually couldn't stand it anymore and quit. shortly after i started my own business.
one good thing that came out of that job was i mastered using a numeric keypad. i was a data entry operator, transcribing printed/written documents into a financial ledger. i was FAST.
