Born around 1500 in Argeș, #Romania, Philotheia's life was cut short by her own father. Angered by her compassion for the poor and her giving away of food, he struck her down in a fit of rage. Her relics, now enshrined at the Curtea de Argeș Monastery, are a source of healing and comfort for many.
