I AM A SPOKEN WORD POET

I'm a spoken word poet,

of course, my words speak louder than my actions,

and sometimes, they’re the only thing I can trust,

to say what my heart is too scared to show.

I don't just write poems;

I breathe them, live them, let them wrap around my thoughts

like a warm blanket on a cold night.

My pen doesn't just move—it dances,

because each word, each line,

is a part of the rhythm in my soul.

I may stumble on the stage,

but the words—oh, they never falter.

They stand tall,

strong,

even when I feel small.

I speak in silence too,

when my thoughts refuse to make sound,

my eyes become the verse,

my silence, the poetry.

I’m a poet,

and my words?

They don’t just tell a story—they make one
