I usually do 20h fasts Sunday do Thursday and 18h fasts on the weekend. I wanted to try 24h for a while now. I felt like Saturday to Sunday would have the least friction.

There’s quite a few benefits:

-listening to real hunger cues

-gut health

-good for the heart and the metabolism

-insuline sensitivity

-preserve muscle and burn fat

it's so weird that i do this already without trying. when i read this, it gave me a slight headache because i'm reminded that i haven't had a meal for 20 hours now.

i don't have a set schedule. at least 5 days out of 7, i am a one meal a day person.

Does it work for you after that ?

My weight is stable. Not training to lose weight. I started doing fasting mainly because of weight training. I find it’s the contrary of stress. Give the gut a break
