These are still early days for nostr.
Fifth post, and can I just say… sharing music on Nostr actually FEELS GOOD. As an independent artist I’ve tried “sharing value” on corporate social, but it’s always felt like a slog. Post for months, but the platform gives nothing back. Always waiting for an algorithm I don’t understand, that I have no control over, to gatekeep my content only to get low views, low engagement, and no value coming back to me.
Maybe right now YouTube, Meta, and co have more “potential reach”, if you can bear the slog, but I can tell you that sharing on Nostr immediately feels WAY BETTER, so I’m sure this will all change. On Nostr I’ve felt the love, felt valued right away, and I’ve been paid for my effort directly by individuals in digital sound money… my mind is seriously blown!! And I feel energized to keep contributing.
For independent musicians, nostr is a game changer.

Here I am playing the first part of a piece I wrote called “Little Monster”… I think the seaweed really adds something!
