We have to realize that this president is not about what is fair. He is about making America a better country and this can come at the expense of other countries.
He will speak of America being treated poorly or bad deals of the past that he is trying to correct. These are ways to try to maintain American support for doing unfair actions.
Other countries will not buy this narrative and dislike will grow against both its country and people. I’m impacted minimally by his actions and am feeling this way so I imagine others are too.
