What a weird paradigm shift. In fiat, if you are not actively raising your prices, you are lowering your prices because of inflation eating away the value of the fiat. In #Monero, if you are not actively lowering prices, you are raising prices.

I notice this when I pay the VPN. Every month my previous payments er more expensive
I don't notice it so much month to month because of potential fluctuations due to market volatility but have a look back at your payment from say April of last year and you'll notice a huge fucking difference for example
So Monero doesn't have an inflation, it has a deflation problem.😂
Depends on the unit of measure. Against any fiat currency, Monero is deflationary. Against gold, Monero is deflationary. Against Bitcoin, Monero is inflationary. And against Monero, Monero is inflationary to steady. Monero has a constant tail emission of 0.3 XMR per minute forever, which asymptotically approaches zero and makes up for any coins lost in boating accidents. It also keeps a constant small reward for miners in order to incentivize miners to always secure the chain, no matter what happens with transaction fees. What you end up with is an equilibrium where roughly the same amount of Monero is lost through loss of private keys as is created through the tail emission, which keeps Monero's supply in balance.
