Anyone growing hemp for use in clothes or other uses? I've heard hemp concrete is strong.
I have cannabis plants i'm growing but want to use the stems and trunk for something useful if possible. Maximize use of the whole plant.

Will watch. Thnx.
Hemp contains a small amount of THC, but rope is not made from the same stuff people smoke. Are you growing hemp?
I was about to, but it's retardedly priced bc you need huge fields and most states make you test for THC content and will burn your whole crop its its like above 0.3% or some shit. Processing is time consuming for fiber last I looked for small scale. But I really want to try finishing pigs on it.
Hempcrete is also very different from concrete. Hempcrete is great in the right situation but its lime based so left out in the rain it falls apart. You need a lot to do anything with it really.
If you want to make use of the stems make #biochar with them.
You would need a LOT of plants.
Growing flax for linen is in the same ballpark and it would require the avg lawn to make enough for a shirt.
