Okay, I know, I know. I went to the movies yesterday and yes, I saw "Like A Complete Unknown" 🙃 I wanted to share a song by Bob Dylan entitled "The Lonesome Death of Hattie Carroll". It's protest song, released in 1964. It tells the true story of Hattie Carroll, a Black hotel worker who was killed with a toy cane by a wealthy white man, William Zantzinger, in 1963. She was a 51 year old mother to 10 children. 💔

Despite the brutality of his actions, Zantzinger received only a six-month prison sentence, highlighting racial and class injustice in America. This song is more relevant than ever. We still live in a time where people are not held accountable for their actions and, instead, often serve as examples of irresponsibility. 🧡

I think a bigger issue is women purjuring themselves ruining both their children's and their man's lives. Make perjury a crime again!

Ms. Carroll (age 51, mother of 10 kids) was beaten to death with a toy cane at work by a 26 year old white kid who is going to inherit all of his family tobacco business. He went 6 months to prison for his actions. And you start to talk about perjury? Carroll didn’t even make it to court, how tasteless can you be.
