Seems relatively straightforward but obviously it’s huge friction to the average user

Yup can confirmAltStore sideloading works. I used it when Apple banned the RT app and I ripped the IPA file from a backup lol.

But agree, it's defo not normie friendly...

Though, could be used for the "zaps version" of Damus if there is no compromise with Apple and App Store.
