the file itself would need to be stored in a decentralized way.

which means something like IPFS.

I’m starting to understand why Scuttlebutt made some of the decisions they did about storing days clientside and not relay side.

no one has any idea what I’m talking about or why it matters 😂

1. You can’t share files in a decentralized way on nostr currently.

2. Scuttlebutt was the original, existing protocol fiatjaf was going to use to create nostr. scuttlebutt made different decisions in regard to how data is stored, and the role of relays.
