Whenever the topic comes up people seem very unclear on what is actually at risk (ie exposed public keys). They also seem to mix up the cryptography keypair discussion and instead keep using the word "encryption" in reference to hashes and mining. So maybe I'm just an idiot but I don't think most people know what they're talking about.

I agree we should discuss what is happening with exposed pubkeys.
