If these 3 things happened or at least the first 2, I could comfortably say I would support Ordinals (though not like them). Patching the exploit that they're using to abuse the system is my largest issue with this movement.

Not to be nit picky but wouldn't it be inscriptions? Aren't ordinals just something a dude made that uses inscriptions
Ordinals users had the same right to choose their node version just like I do.
I agree Derek, Brad has the right mindset to solve this huge taproot exploit which was introduced in 2021 with the passage of taproot. A lot of bitcoiners are still in the delusion and denial phase. "bItCoIN iS For eVeRyOnE" they say. It's going to take a lot of time to bring these people back to reality. Taproot, in hindsight, was a HUGE mistake.
I would probably be okay with Ordinals storing one hash of a jpeg per input. Hey even go crazy with a 512-bit if you want to. Much more efficient use of blockspace and preserves integrity of their 'claim' on that data.
What is a blobspace?
I’m for one thing and one thing only. Let the free market decide.
