Nostr Web Client

If people think Nostr is a crypto or blockchain protocol they think it’s some scam. That’s the reality of how all crypto is viewed by the average normie.

Nostr is not a blockchain project. It’s got some nice integration with lightning, but it’s not a bitcoin project either.

It’s an open super flexible permissionless protocol that lets us rebuild everything of Web 2.0 but in a way that puts users in control and allows for real privacy through end to end encryption. Let’s sell Nostr based on all the amazing things is can do.

The protocol is a better alternative to web3. That's just what I see atm. Web3 I'm tired of hearing about because it's shit coin paradise. Bridging with lightning keeps the wallet issues where they belong and keeps the issues separated allowing focus where it deserves to be. I'm also biased against web3 because most of it revolved around eth for a while.

This is the right combo to me.

i’ve been trying to use nostr while avoiding the crypto-talk, and muting anyone the first time they post moon lambo works fairly well.

where can i find more people interested in nostr as community and communication?

The most zapped nostr post I have ever had, was my recent post about my new nostr client over HF radio. Not even close

Not Bitcoin or crypto related at all, and there were a ton of people who I have never seen before, decent sided accounts, replying, commenting, zapping, etc.. many privacy people, many comms and radio people, some freedom fighters, etc ..

They are out there! Trie Primal and their topics section. Good way to find non Bitcoin and/or crypto stuff.

Or the dvm's available on different clients.
