I might have only seen Ju-on the grudge. Honestly can't remember, been a while 🤔

But yeah there was a time when it was quite refreshing seeing these Asian horrors with their own sense of horror. There is a sense of the poetic and their particular aesthetics and I suppose reflections of cultural anxieties (and religiosity? That seems to be a thing) peculiar to the regions. Maybe that seems less fresh the more you see? But that's not a fault tbh.

I had no idea there was a ...Vs sadako. That *may* just be goofy enough for me to want to watch lol. Not sure lolol. I thought Pulse was p decent and the spiral one..I forget the name. Have you seen I Saw The Devil. Not really in the horror genre, but is amazing.

I haven’t seen any of the Ju-on movies but I did see Ringu and its disowned sequel, Spiral. Ringu was pretty good. Spiral was a mess.

I think I've seen the original ringu. I definitely saw the American ring and the one that came out a few years ago Rings
