I’m not sure exactly what that number tracks on Amethyst. Is it write acknowledgements #[2] ?

I Think so. whenever i hit "broadcast" I see all the relays get a "1" on them like its pending to write. but im not the dev so I really don't know.
That is a number of uploads since the last time the app went to the background.
