Sorry, but that’s the way it is

Used to be you could not only feel ownership of your contributions, there was immediate feedback that verified your work and it’s value

That ended in 2000 , for me anyway

My goal is early retirement from working for someone else

Seems to be the only way now

Who knows their may be sub 200 employees organizations out there still that give you the feeling of value

My career started with a sub 100 pioneer company that eventually was bought by a Fortune 500 company, that was bought by another and so on etc.

I had some unique skills that they needed until I prayed everyday for a layoff

Ya just can’t play the game and lie to yourself anymore. No matter how much they bribe you to stay

Creating value brings happiness
