Realized today that one of the reasons Pluribus is a fascinating mystery is the same reason Luke Dashjr is a fascinating character.
You see, neither the Pluribus nor Luke are capable of lying. Or at least, that's what they claim...
But when you delve deeper, you realize that they both perpetrate an incredible amount of deception, and they do so via what any normal person would call a "lie of omission."
As such, Pluribus is a captivating mystery show because you're constantly trying to figure out how the hive mind is being deceptive while still answering all of the questions from the protagonists honestly.
