I know it's old-hat by now, but ChatGPT is genuinely amazing for figuring out how to do tech/linux/command line type stuff. One of the gamechanging aspects imo is the fact that you can have a multi-part conversation with it along the lines of "that was close, but here's some more detail on what I want to do, try again please" until it gets there. This is the key reason it's better than a simple search engine - it can craft an answer for you in an iterative way. Here's a conversation I just had with it about bash aliases.
