I have a Morrocan friend who teaches coaches college-level tennis here in usa. Oh boy, he has some amusing stories to share!

Coaching is a role based on communication and maintaining relationships, which can be performed by anyone. A woman can be knowledgeable enough to and have a personality that's compatible with coaching a men's team too. Sometimes there just isn't anyone else.

The real problem would be men competing in women's sports.
