it's convenient that the state ( Rome ) murdered Christ.
then the state could say, "We put down that upstart pretender 💪"
and the proto-Christians could mourn their good good boy while not having to worry about Him pestering them about their human foibles into old age.
it is *this* situation that has continued into the present. the Church ( in all its forms, including Rome ) is a shadow of the knowledge Christ attempted to impart.
that knowledge is personal. it is found after study and reflection, alternating intense dialogue and extreme isolation.
