The Xitter replies are all rainbows and butterflies which I think is completely naive, it’s Bitcoiners imagining their own lens and the beauty they could bring to the world rather than how the world has changed around them. Having thought a bit about the game theory of this let me put forth another perspective:

- There are hundreds of Bitcoin Billionaires

- Thousands of Hundred Millionaires

- These will be early adopters who often are quite anarchist and not fans of the state

- Their wealth is LIQUID, not like the wealthy people in the fiat system whose wealth is permissioned/illiquid

- They can now privately fund armed forces at a scale none of us have ever seen

- The world will bifurcate into Bitcoin friendly/enemy dynamics and Bitcoiners had better find themselves in a friendly jurisdiction

- US Gov will seek to 6102 companies at some point

- Assassinations/killings will be much more common

- Politicians going after Bitcoin or Bitcoiners face a completely different threat model

- Bitcoin custodians are sitting on Trillion dollar honeypots

- They are now the biggest targets on earth with their corn one irreversible block away from giving an activist organisation nation state level wealth

- Leftist organisations will be targeting Bitcoin first for taxes, then for confiscation/redistribution

- Hacks and fraud will increase exponentially

- Fiat backed by Bitcoin will be seen as a trump card to save the US empire

- No more Bitcoin conferences

- No one wears Bitcoin merch

- Square has announced Lightning payments are coming soon™️

- Peter Schiff still says it’s going to zero

- Governments start treating Bitcoin like illegal porn and if it's found you get arrested.

How are they gonna pay the people that are supposed to arrest us?

How fortunate for they made Exchanges KYC everyone who bought corn. Pretty easy to find when the impetus is there

Real bitcoiners are solid people trying to save the world. There are however traders (hedonistic sociopaths) that will do well too... but most should get wrecked. Theres a ton of undeserving rich scumbags now anyway so... id say the world will be a MUCH better place

1. More funding of art and music.

2. More funding of testable science, because proof-of-work matters. Prototypes for QI (Quantised Inertia) will likely be funded by bitcoiners. Great implications if QI works.

3. Non-brutalist architecture.

4. Resources for distance education.

5. The wealthiest people will support free markets, individual rights, property rights and individual liberties.

I can't stress how positively transforming this would be for humanity.

The fiat system has the wealthy connected and working hand-in-glove with political power, this has real world impacts. Bitcoiners do not have this and their independent wealth undermines those in charge of the fiat system.

There is certainly a path to positive transformation in friendly jurisdictions, but I doubt that’s going to be a consistent thing happening across the world.

We'll see.

Certain jurisdictions may experience decades or centuries of oppression, or maybe that can be avoided. Other jurisdictions may see unprecedented prosperity. The future is unwritten, what matters is which direction we are aiming for. Capital will have an impact and bitcoin wealth will be the most impactful capital.

So to stack quiety is the smartest move then.

Especially for those of us who will be better off but not rich by any means.

If Bitcoin goes to $100m+ then it's a game changer for everyone who stacked.

It doesn't change. Eveyhing will change only if people will use bitcoin instead of Fiat money, allowing true freedom and cutting hands from who now controll money with his printers for corruption. This is not strictly bound to its intrinsic value.
