PLUM CAKE RECIPE

All the ingredients will be at room temperature. Put them in order while using a mixer.

170g soft butter

3 big eggs

12g vanilla sugar

150g sugar

170g yoghurt (no weird vegan anything)

280g all-purpose flour

10g baking powder

Put the mixer aside and add the plums to this batter. About 750g pitted and halved should do the job but it's not a big deal if you have a few more or less. Stir them in gently. Line a springform pan (about 24cm) with baking paper, add the batter, and top with 2-3 tablespoons of sugar. Bake at 180 degrees in the oven for about 45 minutes until golden brown. Make sure you do the toothpick test (if the batter sticks to it, it's not ready yet). If it's not cooked through, bake for another 10 minutes.

Very simple, hard to do it wrong.
