It's been 4 years since remote work surged in popularity and yet a bunch of you are still showing your bed or kitchen in the background of video calls
Have some self respect and invest $100 in a green screen FFS!

That $100 short on #Bitcoin in my book. Not gonna happen.
Green Screen is for the bourgeoisie
Id argue that a usb mic at minimum would facilitate the biggest bang for your buck in terms of remote communication
that's what I'm saying! Using your ear pods for that TV interview? Grow TF up
At least I made my bed... we all know you're hiding that pile of laundry
No. Flicker is major distraction + my kitchen is a flex.
I simply do not have enough fucks to give for this.
Besides who tf is even turning their camera on anymore?
Nah u gonna see my mess 😂💯
Happy with my bookcase and log fire showing
Why does my furniture offend you?
Oh man, if you green screen then you need lightning set up, camera with good depth of field, and much more space to have that stuff set up. The kitchen is way batter than a janky green screen
Or just blur the background
I’ve been remote working nearly 15 years and never used camera. It’s not necessary unless it’s for some broadcast
I completely agree.
Terrible take. $5 Salvation Army picture>$100 green screen. To be fair, my head is chopped off in my profile picture and I’ve still not done anything about it 🤣
Just because you're at home doesn't mean you shouldn't show some basic level of professionalism. Or even some OPSEC, no one needs to know any part of my homes layout or contents
yes, make your bed before addressing The Lopp.
