I keep seeing this pay the bills (streaming exclusively on valueverse TM) meme and I can’t connect with it.
Like this:

We're at this stage in all of this imo. JRE is what it is today because Joe was just hanging out with his friends, having a good time and not taking himself too seriously.
I want everyone to thrive but we also need to let it grow organically so it last and doesn't turn into a viral fad and die out like everything else around us.
There's a reason podcasting has lasted this long even with Apple and Spotify trying to control it. Now with the new features of PC 2.0 it can go places we haven't even dreamed of yet.
The future is bright for independent content creators.
