Ever notice there's always a war or big distraction just before the presidential elections where the current US Commander-In-Chief positions themselves as a powerful protector of the people, thereby increasing their chances of re-election?

It's not a coincidence. It's strategy.

It is a sociological phenomenon that in times of perceived turmoil (this is often manufactured) people tend to turn toward perceived "strong" leaders to protect them from the "bad guys," even if they are not the best candidate for the job.

I was thinking it's more a consequence of a rapidly depreciating currency. #Biden's best play is to just keep spending billions because the next guy is the chump that will run out of options and have to deal with the consequences.
