That cannot be done without recognising the roles that culture and ethics have on building an independant course of technological development. China was able to develop at an accelerated pace, this however, wasn't because it was able to chart its own distinct technological way of looking at the world.

Rather, it represents an accelerated version to the Western project. Which is why we see both China and the US being tied economically rather than being two indepedant competing trains of development, they both need each other to move forward.

This is why philosophers like Yuk Hui are important and influencial to the nodes of the early Cyber Islamic network like SAIF, anything we do to develop needs to be grounded in Ihsan and Ibadah.
