What's the best way to transfer sats from minibits -> lightning -> on chain?

I don't know anything about minibits/ecash so I'll leave that to others,

but while looking for ways to manage channel liquidity I realized that (in my case at least) going from lightning->on-chain is more expensive than going from lighnting->liquid->on-chain.

The liquid-step also allows me to collect some smaller amounts and later swap those into a single on-chain UTXO

My guess: there is no "best"

I just sent 10 minibits sats to my Ln getalby lol mad

I've sent Ln to my ecash mint but not other way round

OK I guess I need to figure out this LN Alby stuff.

Lol then you'll have to go down the custodial vs non custodial Ln hole and all the fees associated πŸ˜†πŸ€¦πŸ˜‚

Yeah I have a Phoenix channel setup already and it seems to be working!

I closed my phoenix and moved it over to zeus. Didn't phoenix have some concerns a while back

I think it was only because they were removed from the App Store in πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

Yes that was it

Lightning -> cash app

I don't have access to cash app 😬

Can minibits pay directly to a lightning invoice? If so, then with on chain fees as low as they are, I’d send it directly from minibits to Muun wallet. Or if you need it in a specific on chain wallet, then use boltz.exchange to do a lightning-to-on chain swap to that wallet.

Yes, any move from one mint to another mint is done via lightning and you can pay any LN invoice directly from mint.

Plus you can receive and send zaps with minibits that land as either ecash or sats depending on receiver setup.

I move from minibits into a Mutiny channel or Zues channel
