I'll be honest, I was really sceptical about nostr at first. I'm an early adopter and I've seen promising technologies that would supposedly take over but never did because of bad user experience. Linux had 20 years to get it right and they failed. But nostr integrates lightning so well that I'm excited about it. I'm moving my projects slowly on nostr and I'm sure it will being massive bitcoin adoption.

Same here. I wasn't sure at first if I liked the idea of logging in with a private key so I was mulling it over for a month or two. Finally I made the jump and I really like the possibilities that Nostr opens up.

Nostr works well and matters of security can be improved over time. If my private key gets compromised I will still have other social media accounts where I can verify a new npub is that is ever necessary.

If I ever claim that I'm on a new npub, that claim must be supported by at least some confirmation on any of my other platforms.

Nostr combined with zaps and tips is a silent revolution.

Maybe you failed with Linux, doesn't mean Linux failed..

There's big brother tech, and there's Linux.

Linux wins everyday, for me..

For user experience, Linux is a complete failure. Ubuntu, which is now the easiest implementation for a casual user, never quite works right. It's been 20 years.

It's not the easiest implementation, that's what non Linux users thinks.. Try Manjaro, PopOs, or any other than that one, or don't, and stay at winblows or iThings.. Linux DGAF..😂

Been using Linux for almost 10 years now, not a terminal guru, just a pleb, but it always works, on all my machines.. Just like you have to learn bitcoin, you have to learn Linux.. The PoW is in there..
