Youāre right, solving the root problem isnāt trivial. Neither is building a grass roots P2P monetary network.
Music is also a beautiful P2P exchange of energy. Ticket master, scalpers, etc will syphon off ever last bit of energy until the creativity is gone.
Best get all your tickets during presale and figure out plans later. Otherwise your not going. Even then, regular GA or Pit tickets are hard to come by.
Deadheads and people alike take pride in trading or transacting P2P and the Cash or Trade model is onto something. I like the idea that thereās reputation involved. If youāve given tickets away, traded, or sold (face value) before then youāll have a better chance getting tickets next time your in need. Itās about giving back more then your taking. That model is interesting when zaps are inside. It would be a cool way to interact with people going to the shows, help them get there with zaps, and see whoās looking for an extra ticket. Nothing better then grooving in the pit with people with similar energy.
Iām no technical whiz, but I know thereās far too many hands I the cookie jar.
