This actually looks like an amzing peice of work. Does it work on testnet too? I'm using blocknotify rn for this, but would love to level up.

It does, that's how I tested it, although I struggled to even get any testnet coins 😂

Testnet4 merged today. If you use sparrow wallet, I can send you some coins. Or I could sent to npub

Notice the characters in your npub and taproot address are the same module prefix and checksum.

To spend just use your privkey. Create a tx and sign with schnorr. Sparrow wallet is a great example.
