Do you drive? Because car tires create more microplastics than tinsil just saying.
Especially if the tinsil is just for indoor decorations and gets packed up and stored for next year when it's taken down.
It's the least of our worries
And when it gets thrown away? Or breaks apart?

Mostly ends up in landfills
Polyester clothing and car tires are far worse.
Tires used to be recycled into road pavement. Probably not nearly enough. And polyester is a problem.
