Instead of 'running a node' becoming a hobby in itself, I suggest installing a distro like nostr:npub1aghreq2dpz3h3799hrawev5gf5zc2kt4ch9ykhp9utt0jd3gdu2qtlmhct to make it a lot easier to set-up and be able to install other apps like #mempool, #electrum, #Nostr relay, and many others.

Tip: don't install on a raspberry pi but use a fanless industrial PC with a large SSD instead. If cost is not an option, they also sell pre-installed umbrel nodes but otherwise install #Ubuntu Linux on it, then install umbrel. This way you'll have enough space to run the other cool 😎 apps from the umbrel app store without running into performance issues. #bitcoin #node
