Solid article that hits home.

I've counted up 28 friends and who died. 20 in Iraq over 3 deployments in the Army, 1 in Afghanistan after I got out, the rest from suicide and a couple of MVA.

The things that has kept me from the darker thoughts have been returning to a spiritual mindset, my wife, my kids, my dog, the outdoors and gardening/raising livestock and Bitcoin. It's last because it was the last involved and the others have higher precedence. The combination though has increased my drive and sense of purpose. BTC is what really drives me because of the overall potential to improve life for my family and hopefully allow my grandkids and further a better future.

Let me know and I would like to help push the drive in the vet community with you. Is there a vets community within NOSTR yet?

I'm glad you liked the article and have those to stay grounded. We have lots of room to connect veterans here on nostr, so perhaps we start highjacking the tag #vetstr and spread the word in other channels
