Ok switched from Muun to Phoenix for hot LN wallet & I’m not digging these fees. I thought LN was supposed to be damn near zero ?
I do understand the up front opening channel costs they do but, seems like every transaction fees are like $2+.
I really need to get my own node up & running to try Zeus. What’s everyone else using ?!?

Odd. The most fees I've had on phoenix recently even up to "$100" to purchase a gift card was 292 sats or $.08.
.ost of them are 1-7 sats. Admittedly higher than a fully custodial solution.
But I wonder why the difference. 🤔
That sounds more like it. Maybe cuz I just setup this wallet & it has to open channels ? Idk man, it’s bizarre. Unless I have to tweak something in the settings.
I admitted paid way more in fees than I should have initially playing with it because I didn't understand the whole channel capacity so I kept making new channels until I finally made a larger one. So now I've got 4 channels 😅
Not saying this is what you're running into but something does seem off with $2+ fees...
Sometimes this stuff is just beyond me.
