We don't really own our phones, laptops, even new cars. We don't control what goes on them, we can't change or repair them, our privacy is almost zero. Our, current, digital lives are provided by the tech companies that, like the land holding classes of old, control what we can do and if we can even use our things.
I was today years old when I first heard the term 'technofeudalism'. I find it an interesting concept and worthy of some thought. Anyone have some interesting perspectives on it to share with me?
