I like the idea that what is meant for you won’t miss you. Though I’m not saying abdicate personal responsibility. You have to be ready and go after opportunities when they present themselves. In this day and age “the one that got away” can normally be found. I’m not sure there is one perfect life partner for a person. There are different paths every life can take. It’s a choose your own adventure.
