You have to find a provider first. They are coming. Brainstorm, Relatr, etc. They will setup an event for you that informs Amethyst where to get the scores from.

Oh OK... how does that interact with the app? Is there a preference panel or something?

It's all defined in the provider. You select you algo you want in their screens and the app simply listens to their processing.
