I get what you're saying but the Pollyanna take will never happen because it implies both sides are working equitably towards a solution.

I used to think like that. It's hard not to feel like a hippy-assed dope when the reality is the discussion goes one way, solely. Whites are evil, colonialist, oppressive, greedy, history's beneficiaries etc.

The upshot of allowing blacks to occupy that one data point of enslavement by whites has made them dumb and lazy intellectually.

I think Whites and Blacks can work equitably toward a solution. It benefits all parties.

The discussion goes only one way because egalitarianism goes only one way.

The diversity problem is the same everywhere, no matter what the groups are.

We need mention Kosovo and Northern Ireland here, maybe Palestine, perhaps even the plight of indios in Mexico.
