As far as I know there's a literal handful of people who use it.

I think it's interesting, but has flaws, isn't private and doesn't solve much. It seems unnecessary imo, but I've only put like 2 hours into learning it. I don't think it's the next layer 2 solution, but maybe a stepping stone.
