I realized that my collection of threadbare, washed-out, drab, neutral, oversized T-Shirts -- that I was reduced to wearing because I can't fit into my prettier clothes 🙈 -- was making me depressed and increasingly indifferent to my appearance. I was, in other words, degrading to a slob. And, once you see yourself as a slob, why not have that 4th cupcake 🧁?

So, I bought some light, ¾ sleeve sweaters in the bright, jewel colors that suit me best, on sale, and wearing them cheers me up. As soon as I put this shirt on, I felt like I were 5 years younger and had been transplanted to a tropical island, and I broke into a happy smile.

I'm a clear winter, due to the cool tonality and high-contrast of my color palette, but it can be difficult to purchase the brightest colors because they're so... extreme. They don't look extreme on me, tho. They actually fade out of focus and put the emphasis on my face. That's what well-suited color selections do. ☺️
