Is there some private electricity provider accepting bitcoin? The state version obviously doesn’t work 🫠
Discussion
Wtf is this 🥹 I never experienced long blackout like this
https://www.ppas.cz/ They used to accept bitcoins. I don't know how it is now.
We need some reversal miner - generating electricity from btc
Free market for grid operators, hell yeah. This state monopoly sucks.

Distribution grid is an good example of extremely centralized system. The bigger it is, the harder it is to maintain. But thanks to it, we can buy and sell electricity to whole Europe.
I would love to see the decentralized grid, but I think this may be really expensive-innefective to achieve.
Maybe. I really don’t have knowledge in this area.
I just never seen anything where would the state provide good service.
I used to work for a large utility company in Norway and we built a new consumer electricity company and I reach out to the largest Bitcoin community in Norway, we had serious consideration to allow payment using Bitcoin. Not a single person was interested. They didn't want to separate with their Bitcoin to pay.
It was very unfortunate, because it could have happened.
