Listened to a really interesting podcast from Bugle Weekly. They think bitcoiners are adopting KYC because that’s the only way Fiat politicians will accept bitcoin. Ie giving up Pseodonyminity for number go up and I think they’ve got a point.
99% of the bitcoin podcasts are covering the western adoption. Not Africa. Not the struggling middleeast. Not the Global South. Politicians want to save their asses with KYC Bitcoin. Yet anyone can receive KYC free bitcoin in return for products and services or mining.

Open systems by their very nature have a cost.
Anything that has a cost needs a fair price to be managed in a decentralized way.
Bitcoin provides a fair price.
Open systems to be fair and decentralized in the long run need Bitcoin.
We need to decentralized the data used to train these AI models, otherwise we will be the products of them.
